Sales Account Executive

This role will suit strong team players who thrive on a challenge, are effective at building and maintaining relationships with business partners and customers, are driven by meeting targets, and deliver excellent customer service. You will be responsible for responding to day-to-day client queries and adjustments, providing new business quotations and maintaining great rapport with our brokers and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Account management and client relationship management
  • Building and maintaining relationships with brokers and clients
  • Gaining a strong understanding of client’s needs and identifying the product that best suits their requirements
  • Taking a consultative approach to selling, clearly explaining the benefits of the competitive products available
  • Providing an excellent level of customer service that exceeds expectations
  • Supporting the Regional Sales Managers/Business Development Managers in order to increase sales and repeat business
  • Identifying and understand clients requirement and offer tailored solutions
  • Identifying account growth opportunity
  • Providing an exceptional telephone experience for all customers and field personnel
  • Contacting potential and existing customers by telephone to update them on new products and benefits

Technical Requirements

  • Self-motivated, commercially astute and be keen to maximize the opportunities available
  • Insurer-based background, although this may not be essential if you can demonstrate a strong sales background (either face-to-face or telephone based)
  • Proven experience in an Account Management/Sales role
  • Proven ability to deliver outcomes and meet targets
  • Excellent track record of delivering exceptional customer service, putting the client’s needs at the heart of everything you deliver
  • Confident communicator, free of jargon with an ability to communicate with clients across the globe
  • Expert negotiation skills
  • Drive, motivation and determination to deliver to a high standard and succeed
  • Approachable team player who is quick to adapt to changing priorities
  • Multi-tasking abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Cert CII qualified or a willingness to work towards
  • Ability to speak a European language is desirable
