Finance Administrator

As a Finance Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring that premium income payments are processed in a timely and accurate manner in line with Company Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).


  • Ensure SLA’s are met, and financial controls are maintained whilst promoting high standards of service to both internal and external customers
  • Allocating payments on in-house systems and ensuring accurate records are maintained
  • Managing direct debit payments and returns in line with company procedures
  • Liaising with clients and Brokers as required
  • Process EPDQ payments
  • Liaise effectively with colleagues in other teams to ensure clients policies are managed in line with Company standards
  • Maintain policy spreadsheets and ensure accuracy of data capture
  • Cover or support other job roles within the department as required

  • Excellent organisational and coordination skills, as well as a keen eye for detail and the ability to deal with sensitive and highly confidential information appropriately
  • Professional and friendly communication style
  • Experience of working within customer service, finance or administrative roles
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own workload to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with other teams, to interact with peers and Management as appropriate
  • Experience and capability of working to deadlines
  • Determination to exceed customer expectations and work around obstacles to provide an efficient and effective service

  • Previous experience of data input and processing desirable
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office including Excel & Word
  • Experience of using SAGE (desirable)
